We're looking for someone interested in and passionate about preserving sustainable agriculture systems within our local food communities.

C&F Farms is excited to invite applications for an on-farm position. Our mission is to cultivate the land with dedication and care, providing our community with high-quality, sustainable meats. We are committed to fostering a connection between people and the food they consume, as well as preserving the rich agricultural heritage of our region. Through hard work, integrity, transparent and ethical practices, and a passion for farming, we aim to be a trusted source of fresh, locally grown products, empowering individuals to make informed choices, while nurturing the land for generations to come.

 We are looking for an employee with the potential to build, develop and sustain livestock enterprises and land restoration. We are seeking an ambitious, hard-working individual to build and develop a shared vision of regenerative agriculture. Depending upon the day or task, applicants can expect to answer to and work alongside farmers Jared & Debbie for some tasks, after a period of training and getting to know one another, independent working will be expected for some tasks.


Work will include but is not limited to:

● Daily care of animals – work closely with chickens, cattle, hogs, turkeys.

● Manage (plan and execute) each enterprises location and movement using planned grazing techniques. Training provided.

● Able to lift and move heavy items regularly.

● Administrative tasks including record keeping, budgeting, planning.

● Participating in farm team meetings as required.

● Help with construction and maintenance on new and existing facilities.

● Provide reports to owner on monthly basis.

● Willing to invest in education - sending to seminars, consultants, etc.  


Experience Required:  

● Prefer 3 to 5 years experience, but not required for the right individual.

● Demonstrated interest and knowledge of regenerative agriculture.

● Experience with livestock.

● Business knowledge and ability to develop & execute financial plans.

● Ambition to run an operation and think critically about decisions/actions.

● Ability to work as a team member as well as independently.

● Ability to lead and manage a team.
